Renters living in Parker can expect to find family-based activities, fun for singles and retired people, and all around "lots of stuff to do"!  For those who seek physical activity, you will find kindred spirits abound!  There are plenty of organizations and clubs that cater to hiking, walking, running, exercising, swimming, golf, tennis, and pretty much anything else you can think of!

In your new community, you'll find myriad activities and countless ways to get involved. We encourage citizen involvement, in both the activities of the community and in the workings of our town government.

 Parker, Colorado was founded in 1864 and became a municipality in 1981.  Parker is located 20 miles southeast of Denver, Colorado.  We have an elevation of 5,900 feet above sea level.  Parker actually encompasses a large geographical area.   The Town of Parker is 16 square miles with a current population of 35,000 people residing within the incorporated town boundaries.

The schools that our children attend are within the Douglas County School District RE 1.  These schools are rated among the highest in the state!  Please take time to view our schools "report cards".  We are very proud of our students accomplishments!
